Lund Elmer Sandager represents a subsidiary of Delta Galil Industries, Ltd. in the acquisition of Danish sustainable clothing brand Organic Basics

Lund Elmer Sandager’s deal team was led by Partner Sebastian Rungby and Attorney Lærke Bruun Hansen who assisted Delta Galil – via a subsidiary – in the asset deal.

Listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Delta Galil is a global manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label apparel products for men, women and children, including brands like Schiesser, Eminence, Athena, Liabel, PJ Salvage, 7 For All Mankind and Splendid. In addition, Delta Galil sells its products under brand names licensed to the company, including Wilson, Adidas, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger and others.

Organic Basics historically has been a digital brand with sustainable and ethical production, with more than 75% of the materials used to manufacture Organic Basics items being plant-based, while more than 15% are recycled.

The acquisition is in line with Delta Galil’s focus on creating a more sustainable fashion industry. Delta Galil is looking to bring the Organic Basics brand worldwide and extend the product line.
