Greentech company AquaGreen secures funding of DKK 30 million in a new investment round

The greentech company AquaGreen has successfully secured a DKK 30 million investment from their lead investor, Nordic Alpha Partners, and Swedish FMG Circular Invest AB.

AquaGreen’s process transform biomass and waste, like sewage sludge, into renewable thermal energy, soil-improving biochar and/or activated carbon. While doing so, the process eliminates harmful pollutants, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and stores atmospheric CO2 in biochar.

We congratulate all parties on the successful investment.

Lund Elmer Sandager’s M&A team advised AquaGreen and its founders on the investment. The team was headed by Partner Jacob Roesen.
