Charity Dinner 2025
Event

About the dinner
The association hosts an annual charity dinner in the splendid surroundings of the French Embassy in Copenhagen, with this year's event scheduled for 15 May 2025. Everything for the dinner is sponsored, including musical and exciting contributions, as well as auction items available during the dinner.
This year, the funds raised from the charity dinner will go towards Maison Shalom, a refugee camp in Rwanda with a project aimed at helping women who have been victims of sexual violence during their flight. The project's goal is to support these women in building a future through training in food production and relevant technical education, which will provide them with access to land and local markets where they can sell their goods. The project aims to strengthen the women’s economic independence and restore their dignity in an otherwise extremely vulnerable existence. The organization behind the initiative is led by Marguerite Barankitse.

About the organisation
Danish Justice Foundation is a relatively new non-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for legal and consultancy services for people in primarily third-world countries who have suffered human rights violations, such as trafficking, slavery, or other forms of involuntary and disadvantageous treatment. For instance, the organisation has ensured that a French doctor in Nepal was prosecuted after sexually abusing several children.
We are proud that Partner, Attorney Michael Møller Nielsen helped establish the foundation and serves as its deputy chairman, while our Head of Communication and Marketing, Mette Westergaard, is a board member.
