Fee Structure

We value the collaborations with all our clients and so we wish to provide transparency and predictability through the cost of our services. Thus, we offer various fee structures. Together with every individual client, we aim to present the fee structure best suited for each case - and we often combine several structures.

Our most frequently used fee structures are:

  • In accordance with time spent: This specific fee structure is used the most often and results in an exact settlement of the case based on the scope, complexity and the skilled specialists used to solve it.
  • Fixed hourly rate: This structure ensures you a fixed hourly rate irrespective of which of our attorneys provides the assistance.
  • Fixed fee: This structure offers you a fixed price based on our specific professional assumptions of the case. However, this price structure is only used if the entire case can be defined in advance.

If a fee structure has not been agreed in advance, our fee will be based on:

  • The legal and commercial complexity of the case
  • The expected time consumption
  • The required specialist knowledge
  • The extent of work under time pressure or outside normal working hours

We are happy to provide a fee estimate upon request and to clients prior to commencing our work. In cases where an estimate is difficult to provide, we will explain the criteria for calculating the fee, e.g. the hourly rates used on the case. In addition, we strive to regularly keep the client informed during the course of the case, if it turns out the fee is expected to exceed the given estimate.

You are always welcome to approach our attorneys for an informal discussion about what we can do for you. You can also find the names of the contact persons on the site Practice Areas or you may call our reception on +45 33 300 200, who will then put you through to the right person.
