Lund Elmer Sandager assists Danoffice IT with the acquisition of Npvision Group

Danoffice IT acquires Npvision Group who specializes in buying and selling used IT equipment. Danoffice IT sells IT-solutions to international organizations and private companies. The company employs more than 120 people and last year it reached a turnover of more than one billion DKK. There are high expectations for the realization of synergies followed by the acquisition.

COVID-19: New requirements demand a negative COVID-19 test for foreign workers entering Denmark from high-risk countries

Following the recent increase in the COVID-19 infection rates, the government has introduced new measures and restrictions for migrant workers which became effective on 26 October 2020. The new restrictions require that migrant workers from high-risk countries must present a negative COVID-19 test when entering Denmark.

Passengers can look forward to receiving reimbursements for cancelled flights faster

The Danish Transport, Construction and Housing Authority (TBST – the ministry for transportation for the aviation industry) has published an announcement that they are now applying deadlines for air carriers’ reimbursement for cancelled flight tickets to passengers. This new enforcement step is as an attempt to speed up the reimbursements and for passengers to be able to claim their right within the original timeframe.

COVID-19: Restaurants and cafés are encouraged to register visiting guests

On September 7 2020, the Government held a press conference on COVID-19, in which Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke requested that restaurants and cafés offer their visiting guests the possibility to register their contact information. A request that aims to increase contact tracing as the number of people infected with covid-19 is increasing, but at the same time raises some data protection law issues for you as a restaurateur or café owner.

COVID-19: Agreement on phasing out the three-party agreement on salary compensation

On 5 June, the Government and the labour market parties (unions and employer associations) agreed that the three-party agreement on temporary salary compensation should be phased out, as the COVID-19 situation begins to look better and the Danish society reopens. However, the parties agree to extend the current period so that the scheme will finally end on 29 August 2020.
