Lund Elmer Sandager advises IK Partners on the acquisition of Francks Kylindustri

Founded in 1950, the company today has more than 650 employees across 50 locations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Francks Kylindustri has built a strong market position and a broad customer base within technical installations, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.

IK Partners is a leading European private equity firm focused on mid-market investments in the Benelux, DACH, France, the Nordics, and the UK. The fund invests in businesses across sectors including business services, healthcare, consumer and industrials, with the aim of creating scalable and resilient companies.

With this acquisition, IK Partners will support Francks Kylindustri’s continued growth in the Nordics and work towards further international expansion, while maintaining the company’s focus on quality, innovation, and sustainable solutions.

Lund Elmer Sandager’s M&A team advised IK Partners on all Danish aspects of the transaction, which included the companies Francks Køleindustri ApS, Svedan Industri Køleanlæg A/S and Svedan Marine Industriservice A/S.
