Meet Louise

Louise became an attorney in September 2024, but her path to the legal profession was far from predetermined.
"I also applied for Spanish alongside law for my studies. Spanish was my second choice, so I actually wasn’t completely set on studying law," she says with a laugh. It was not until after attending an open house event at the University of Copenhagen that she made her final decision — a choice she is now very happy with.
Louise joined LES as an assistant attorney in the Real Estate team and describes the transition to becoming an attorney as a gradual and natural process.
"I’ve continuously taken on more responsibility so the step from assistant attorney to attorney felt very natural," she explains. "It’s nice that the transition hasn’t been abrupt. I’ve been well-prepared along the way."
Today, Louise advises clients on lease agreements, commercial real estate transactions and prescriptive right cases . For her, the job is about more than just legal rules – it is about helping others.
"I’ve always had jobs where I helped people in one way or another, so I’m really happy to have found my way to LES where I can guide both individuals and businesses as a legal advisor," she says.

"I usually start my day with a cup of coffee with my wonderful office mate," she shares. Her day typically includes a mix of meetings, email correspondence and discussions with colleagues.
"I like walking over to colleagues to talk cases through — it really fosters good collaboration," says Louise. She also highlights the strong culture in the team: "We rely on each other for sparring and support across different challenges and cases."
For Louise, the culture at LES is what makes her job fulfilling.
"I love that we keep things down-to-earth — both in the way we advise clients and in how we interact at the office. We have a flat structure, and I can chat and laugh with everyone," she explains.
