COVID-19: All restrictions expire 31 January 2022

The number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19 no longer increases at the same pace as infection rates. Therefore, the Government has decided that COVID-19 from 1 February 2022 should no longer be categorized as a socially critical disease. However, it is still possible to use certain compensation schemes.

Three party agreement gives companies and parents the opportunity for early reimbursement in the event of illness due to Covid-19

On 23 November, the Government and the social partners (FH, DA, AC, KL and the Danish Regions) made an agreement which entails that companies can be reimbursed for sick pay from the first day of illness if an employee is infected with the coronavirus.
