New chairman of the board in Lund Elmer Sandager after 34 years
Partner Linea R. Conforti has been appointed as the new chairman of Lund Elmer Sandager’s Board of Directors. Linea has been a member of the Board since 2020 and will take over the chairmanship immediately. At the same time, Partner Christian Petri joins as a new board member.

It is now prohibited for employers to request information on age in recruitment processes
A broad political majority in the Danish Parliament passed a proposed law on 22 March 2022, which involves that employers from 1 July 2022 may not request information regarding age in connection with job applications.

Lund Elmer Sandager assists Cibicom A/S with the acquisition of Telpartner A/S, including its Swedish subsidiary Telpartner Sverige AB
Agilitas-backed Cibicom has acquired all shares in Danish Telpartner. Telpartner specialises in DAS solutions (Distributed Antenna Systems), which is used for indoor mobiles services. Cibicom is leading in digital transmission, data infrastructure and communication in Denmark and is the nationwide transmitter of digital terrestrial TV and radio.

New special law for Ukrainian refugees
A long with a broad majority of the Danish Parliament, the government has passed a special law for refugees from Ukraine. The special law constitutes an exception to the rules of the Immigration law and aims to secure a temporary residence and work permit in Denmark for persons driven away due to the war in Ukraine.

An amendment of the law on earmarked parental leave has now been adopted
On 3 March 2022, the Danish Parliament passed an amendment to the law on earmarked leave, which will apply from 2 August 2022. The new leave model is intended to promote equality between parents, single parents and LGBT+ families.

European Data Protection Agencies increase focus on cookie solutions and the use of Google Analytics
The Danish Data Protection Agency and other European data protection agencies currently have a strong focus on whether companies’ cookie solutions comply with the rules in the GDPR. It includes e.g. solutions within Google Analytics and IAB’s standard solution for cookies and advertisements, Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), where there are many indications that Danish companies may prepare for alternative solutions.

The European Commission will improve the working conditions of platform workers
